At Oikoplus, we specialize in empowering research and innovation projects by driving effective communication, dissemination, and sustainable exploitation strategies.
Since 2018, we have partnered with interdisciplinary consortia and multinational teams, guiding complex research projects to success. Our work spans collaborations with scientists, industrial R&D teams, and civil society organizations, all dedicated to advancing innovation.
Background
What if dissemination could be offered as a service—for researchers and companies driving innovation? This was the spark of an idea that ignited in 2017 when Michael Anranter and Thomas Stollenwerk began to brainstorm. At the time, Michael was a junior researcher at Oikodrom, the Vienna Institute for Urban Sustainability, and Thomas was editor-in-chief of Biorama magazine. Old university friends, they realized they could combine their expertise to tackle a critical challenge: making science communication more impactful and accessible.
By 2018, their idea had become a reality, and Oikoplus was born. The mission was clear: to help research consortia communicate groundbreaking solutions to the world’s toughest challenges—making research not only accessible and understandable but also inspiring. The spirit of European collaboration was woven into Oikoplus’s DNA from the start. After all, how could it be otherwise when an Italian and a German joined forces to found a company in Austria
”Oikoplus supports research and innovation projects over many years and helps consortia to communicate clearly. In doing so, we reach target groups beyond specialist circles. The basis for this is Oikoplus' close involvement in research projects and consulting in interactive workshop formats.

”Multinational projects require those involved to work continuously on project communication - both internally and externally. And Oikoplus is a reliable partner for precisely this work. We can draw on a wealth of experience in co-operation with renowned partners worldwide.
