Oikoplus is a small science communication agency based in Vienna. We have made it our mission to communicate European research and innovation projects in an accessible and interesting way. We are currently working in the fields of biotech, space, energy transition, and green finance. We are all about bringing science to the people. Help us do this.
The job it’s all about:
You will work with our team and a wide range of project partners to develop websites for research and innovation projects that are visually and content-wise attractive, and state-of-the-art. The websites present the project topics, offer insights into the project work, introduce the team, and serve the internal and external exchange of information.
Who and what we are looking for:
_ Applicants with a portfolio that demonstrates their creativity, design skills, and understanding of modern web design.
_ Experience in developing and maintaining WordPress websites.
_ Strong understanding of WordPress core functionalities, themes, plugins, and child themes.
_ Good knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
_ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
_ Experience with digital accessibility (WCAG compliance) is a plus.
